GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS OHIO HISTORY
Grandview Heights Ohio, which was originally settled in 1890, became a village in 1906 and a city in 1931. Grandview Heights was initially a part of Marble Cliff, one of the first suburbs of Columbus. After World War II there was a growth spurt that saw many multiple family units built, as well as a rise in industry and shopping centers. Even after Grandview became a city, it retained much of its small town charm. Grandview Ohio’s central location between interstates 670 and 315 allows for quick access to downtown, Port Columbus Airport and all of Greater Columbus.
